The idea

You handle the sound, I take care of the rest

Your music already paints a landscape. My job is to make the visual side reflect what you want to say with your sound.

Every project starts with the concept: what the music wants to say, who it's for and where it wants to go. The logo, the cover, the tour poster and the merch table all come out of that one idea, so the whole thing feels like you.

I've been doing this for almost ten years, on tour, at festivals and behind my own DJ booth.

Drag the slider or move over the wave. Turn sound on: hats and percussion play in time with the 808.

How we work

Translating your sound into a visual landscape

Four stages, in this order. Each one stacks on the last.

01 / listenstage 1 of 4

Listen

We start with the music and what you want it to make people feel. Then we sit down together, as many meetings as it takes, so you can walk me through every detail of your music. No moodboards yet.

02 / researchstage 2 of 4

Research

I do my homework, a lot of it, because I'm a nerd about this. Your goals for the next year and the next five, the scene you're in, who books artists like you, the stages you want and how the acts on them look.

03 / conceptstage 3 of 4

Concept

Everything is about communication: making people feel something. One simple concept carries a whole universe of ideas and makes everything make sense.

04 / universestage 4 of 4

Universe

First we set your overall visual universe. Tours, albums and every element and stage of your career then plug into it as subsystems: covers, posters, merch, presskit and show visuals, all from the same world.

All about me

I don't design from a desk. I design from the road, from the booth and from the dancefloor.

I'm Abigail: graphic designer, photographer and DJ. A digital nomad with two passports and one backpack. I've worked on tour with bands, at festivals, on cruise ships and for an agency in Amsterdam, studied visual arts in Buenos Aires and Brazil, and I keep taking courses wherever I land.

I run my own party, Paréntesis. I know what a flyer has to do at 2 a.m. on a phone screen because I'm usually the one playing at 2 a.m.

  • 10years designing for music, festivals and culture
  • 5years building one band's whole visual universe
  • 36countries visited, and counting
